It is a great honor to invite you to the 2017 International Symposium of the KSABC will be held at Haeundae Grand hotel, Busan, Korea on June 15-17, 2017. Since the establishment in 1960, KSABC has been the home of chemists and biologists working in the area of agriculture and bioindustries. The society, now with more than 3,300 members, has grown to be a representative forum of the Korean applied biological chemistry and the related industry. The organizing committee intended to take an advantage of this symposium to explore the new horizon in our field and expand our boundary further. The purpose of the 3-day conference is to bring together researchers from around the domestic as well as world who are interested in exploring the link between biochemistry, molecular biology, environmental sciences, natural product, bioactive materials, biotechnology, food sciences/microbiology, and agricultural biologicals as areas of interest. The conference will focus on topics, "Applied Biological and Environmental Chemistry for Sustainable Bioinnovation" and it is organized to promoting the future of the Korean Society for Applied Biological Chemistry.

This symposium is not just a scientific meeting to exchange research but a chance for all the members to interact with others. We strongly encourage everyone to bring all the good memories of the past, eagerness of the present, and challenging prospects of the future to this meeting. We also hope that this symposium is useful for everyone to build formal as well as informal networks among participants. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Busan.
